What drives a curved quote
Rail length first, number and tightness of bends second, and intermediate landings third. A single gentle quarter-turn is the cheapest curved job; a staircase that turns twice with a landing between is the most expensive.
Ask whether the rail parks at the top or bottom, and whether the parked carriage will block a doorway. Repositioning a park location after fabrication is not a small change.
How to compare two curved quotes
Because each rail is bespoke, you cannot compare line items the way you can on a straight lift. Compare four things instead: total installed price, warranty length on the rail and drive, lead time in writing, and the annual service cost after the first year.
