Accessibility Statement
A publication about accessible homes has no excuse for an inaccessible website. We target WCAG 2.2 level AA across the site.
What we do
Accessibility is part of the build, not a retrofit:
- Semantic headings, landmarks, and lists so screen readers can navigate structure.
- Body text set large with generous line height, and no text-in-image for essential content.
- Visible keyboard focus on every interactive element, and full keyboard operation of menus and forms.
- Color contrast that meets or exceeds AA, with meaning never carried by color alone.
- Tap targets sized at least 44 by 44 pixels, and forms usable one-handed on a phone.
- Labeled form fields with plain-language errors, and descriptive alt text on informative images.
- No auto-playing media and no intrusive interstitials.
Known limitations
Some wide comparison tables scroll horizontally on small screens. We label them and keep the first column fixed in meaning so the scroll stays understandable.
