Sizing it to your list

Add up the running watts of everything you want on at once, then multiply by the hours you want to cover. A router at 15 W, three LED lamps at 10 W each, and a phone charger is about 50 W — around ten hours from a 500 Wh unit. A refrigerator cycling on and off adds roughly 500 to 1,000 Wh per day.

Weight is an accessibility spec

A 2,000 Wh station can weigh 45 pounds or more. If the person who will actually move it cannot lift that, either choose a smaller unit, buy two, or place the large one permanently near the equipment it will power.

Chemistry and lifespan

LiFePO4 cells last several times longer than older lithium-ion chemistry and tolerate being left at full charge, which is exactly how a backup unit is stored. It is worth the premium for equipment that spends most of its life waiting.
